Review:
We were at atharva residency with our family and
booked a bunglow for 3 days. We just wanted to relax
and enjoy holidays. We really enjoyed stay and hospitality.
We would like to mention about the humanity as one
of our family member was not feeling well and they
arranged for doctor at 10 in the night and helped
us a lot. We will be visiting again in coming month
with our family get together. We wish them all the
best for the future.

Calm stay with great hospitality in atharva residency

Review: We had
been to atharva residency malgund ganpatipule
in Oct 2008. It was just opened for tourists.
We had a wonderful stay of 3 days (extended by
1 day as my wife liked it)and experienced great
hospitality over there. We went by bus from mumbai
to ganpatipule and had booking in one of lodge
on first day in ganpatipule. We went to see keshavsut
smarak at malgund by auto (charge Rs. 20)and saw
atharva residency malgund by luck. We liked the
outer appereance so we asked about the charges
for couple occupancy. They charged us Rs. 700
per day for the terrace room which was just amazing
and quite cheap compare to lodge in ganpatipule.
Thus we shifted and had a beautiful time together.
We had been to malgund beach which was safe.We
are planning to visit again with some other friends
and have a get-together of past friends. They
can accomodate about 50 persons as they have 5
bungalows. We recommend the travellers to experience
the stay in malgund just 2 kms from ganpatipule
with great atmosphere.

located on a foothill. Ganapatipule is one of
the eight significant Ganapatis (“Ashta
Vinayak”) of India.
Poet
Keshavsut Memorial: This beautiful monument
and museum is a houseful of information on modern
day Marathi poets.
Jayagad
fort: This 17th century fort is located
at a distance of 35 km at the entrance of the
river Sangameshwar. Enjoy a magnificent view of
the sea.
Karhateshwar temple:
A beautiful temple at a 3 hours drive from Ganpatipule
where you can truly relax amidst unruffled, tranquil
natural surroundings.
Sangameshwar
Sangameshwar is located near the Mumbai - Goa
highway and approximately 50 Kms. from ganpatipule.
There is an ancient Shiv temple at Sangameshwar
on the confluence of Shastri and Alaknanda rivers.
